We joined the "winemaker for a day" tasting experience which is highly recommended, both a lot of fun and very educational with a very skilled sommelier in charge. Our clear advice is to try out both a stay at Hotel de Vin and the winemaker experience!
  • Guest：We stayed at this lovely boutique hotel in the heart of Franschhoek for 3 nights of our honeymoon. Its tucked away down a little street off the main drag of hotels, restaurants and shops and a short walk to the wine tram. The staff were excellent; extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel was charming and had everything we needed, including a quiet pool area. The rooms were tastefully decorated and the beds were comfortable. Only reason I gave 4 stars for sleep quality was outside occasional passing traffic, but nothing the hotel can do about that. I would definitely recommend a stay here.
  • Guest：Oh my gosh was this a gem in beautiful Franshoek! Firstly our booking was incorrect, it was booked for September 25th 2026 and we didn't realise this until we got there! The phenomenal celeste klem was at reception and was so helpful with our booking a year in advance, she made sure we had the most beautiful room available, she could have just turned us away, and said see yiu next year! I was so blown away by her kindness, let me tell you the staff is just incredibly kind, helpful and so nice our stay was beyond pleasant the rooms has everything you need! The food was amazing especially the breakfast! I cannot wait to visit this beautiful place again!
