  • Guest：Perfect Stay and location The accommodation was amazing and the room was immaculate, the Staff were friendly and helpful. It’s in a very good location right next to the harbour. We woke up to beautiful sunrise , the food at the pub downstairs was also amazing.
  • Guest：Nice room but incredible noisy until 11pm (Like having DJ decks in the room) Hotel brilliantly located and historic but seems very understaffed. Had to find someone to pour drinks in the bar and was advised the following morning that breakfast was not available because the chef was ill. If we wanted a croissant and a coffee we'd have bought it next door. On check out we were asked to pay again as St Austell have changed their systems and were unable to take payment due to 'GDPR'. (Not really our problem) After we explained that we had already paid ******* the payment was miraculously located. If we had paid again we would have been the ones wasting our time trying to reclaim the double payment. Staff in fairness were all polite and lovely - just undertrained and understaffed.
  • Guest：Staff were lovely, especially the delightful lady at breakfast. Situated right in front of the harbour and an easy walk around the town. We were able to park easily. Unfortunately, our room was not clean, the main light was not working and the shower was also not functioning properly.
  • Guest：Great view. Lovely staff. Parking difficult due to the location but public parking up the road. Not suitable for large bags. Comfortable room however very small. Beautiful view from the room (9). Bed very comfortable and clean. The only gripe I have is the shower was absolutely useless. No pressure or temperature. Couldn’t have a decent shower.
