Guest：Went to visit friends who live not far we were out walking the dogs and nipped in past for a couple of drinks . We got such a warm welcome by the owner and made to feel that nothing was to much bother the decor cleanliness and service was fantastic will definitely make a return visit soon
Guest：Not a very warm welcome on arrival but all other staff were brilliant. I was in room 5 executive - advertised as king size bed - it wasn’t. Advertised as separate bath and shower - it wasn’t, shower was over the bath. Nothing to add to a bath if I wanted one. Weirdly have to pick your breakfast the night before. Only offering is cooked or continental. Continental was cereal, yoghurt and tinned peaches, very disappointing. The whisky bar is amazing but really quiet and the prices of the whisky are way over the top. It’s a spa hotel but no robes or slippers in the room. And when I tried to give feedback when leaving I was told it’s not me, contact the owner. It’s a lovely hotel but really over priced for what you get. I wouldn’t recommend.
Guest：Wonderful staff with a very homey feel to the hotel. The only point of improvement would be the billing system seem to be vague on how you are billed on final bill. Would prefer to pay as you go.
Guest：Ritu, Alison, Sue and Daniel were absolutely amazing ! They make you feel right at home. The hotel is stunning and very clean. The food was top tier, I didn’t have a single meal that I wasn’t raving about. Edzell is charming and rich with history.
