  • Guest：My husband and I were recent guests at Atlantis Dive Resort in Dumaguete. We had a wonderful experience. The staff were amazing. I had been working with Marco over the telephone from the U.S. and had a great working experience with him. He answered all our questions, gave good information and we felt very supported. We appreciated his coming out to meet us at arrival. It shows the extra touch the staff extends. Nina, the resort manager, was extremely helpful and made sure we were comfortable and enjoying our stay. We were overwhelmed with great service by all the staff members in the restaurant, the spa and the dive center. The food was gourmet. I had a marvelous hot stone massage! I enjoyed my mocha every morning decorated beautifully by the talented barista! My husband loved his dive board experience. It was a bucket list adventure for him and it exceeded his expectations. His dive masters were incredible and he raved about the food on the boat. The resort is lovely, right on the beach. Our room was Oceanside and I loved hearing the ocean waves and watching the activity of the divers going out for their dives. The room was very clean and comfortable. We are extremely pleased with our Atlantis Dive Resort experience and their amazing staff! We highly recommend this resort and would love to go back!
  • Guest：We came to Atlantis Dumaguete for our annual club diving trip. We formed the group 6 years ago (we’re from NJ) and this is the first time we went on a long overseas trip. It was an amazing experience. Every part of the resort had fantastic service. The diving - and dive operation - were absolutely top notch. Our guides were Alfred and Genie. Alfred was great, made sure all of us were comfortable, and Genie is a genuine legend. We’ve never been muck diving before and now we’re hooked on the amazing and crazy stuff we saw. We did the day trip to Apo island. Even though the day started out rainy, the team made sure we had a great time and the first dive we did there was one of my top 10 ever. The BBQ lunch was also a real highlight. The team took great care of us and our equipment, making the entire experience very relaxing and a great vacation. The spa had wonderful services. The food was really good and the dining team super friendly, accommodating, and helpful. The management team knew our names from the start and made us feel very welcome. Their slogan is “come as guests, leave as friends” and they really loved up to it. What a great experience!
  • Guest：If your idea of a great vacation includes amazing scuba diving, delicious food and drinks, incredible spa, lovely accommodations, and wonderful on-site management, all of which is delivered by truly kind people – this is the place for you. I stayed for 12 days in late Oct-Nov 2025 and enjoyed every moment. I really can’t say enough positive things about this resort. I have traveled to many land-based resorts and liveaboards for scuba diving, and this is my #1 favorite place. This is primarily a muck diving location, which I have learned to appreciate for its fascinating critters that are not easily found elsewhere. The dive sites are literally 3 to 10 minutes from the resort. The dive staff are experienced and know how to find almost anything that exists in these waters. On one dive, someone asked to see a thorny seahorse, flamboyant cuttlefish, and mimic octopus --- all of which our dive master found. Of course, they can’t guarantee what can be seen on a given dive, but they pour everything into pleasing their divers. I also appreciate their attention to safety; they take excellent care of their small dive groups. The resort offers day trips to see whale sharks at a nearby island along with other special diving opportunities. Their food is fresh and delicious, with a full-menu breakfast and multiple choices for plated lunches and dinners (including starter, main course, and dessert). The flavors and variety are excellent. I lost 6 lbs on my 12 day visit even though I felt like I ate a lot. I tried almost every service the spa offers and they were all superb. I also have to compliment the restaurant and bar staff, housekeeping, groundskeepers, and front desk staff – each person is quite personal and they all become familiar with your name on the first day. Last word is a shoutout to the resort’s management – they are always available and interested in their guest’s experience. Kudos to this resort!
  • Guest：Came to this site with a group. They’d already been traveling around the Philippines for a couple of weeks. This was my only week in country. The hotel went above and beyond with my itinerary, booking a hotel for me in Cebu before and after my time with them, and arranging my airfare between Cebu and Dumaguete. The resort itself is typical tropical-style. The room was large and comfortable with a nice bathroom and hot water. The beach disappeared at high tide, but we were there for the diving. The dive staff took care of our equipment throughout. They did a good job of picking sites and spotting for us. The staff on land was exceptional. Everyone knew my name and preferences from the start. The restaurant and desk staff were friendly and professional throughout.
