  • Guest：Our stay at the Dalvay was fantastic. The hotel is beautiful and the staff was so friendly and accomodating. The restaurant was equally as good and I highly recommend trying the chicken dinner and chowder. The hotel grounds were so peaceful. I highly recommend this hotel.
  • Guest：Is definitely a place where you step back in time. The woodwork and the furniture are such an experience because it’s all very 1800s early 1900 setting. The preparation of the food and the presentation is absolutely wonderful. It is not your traditional motel it’s a hotel with a time stamped flare.
  • Guest：We booked this for our mini honeymoon the three nights following our wedding (end of Sept) and were excited to stay in the King Suite. But ended up being quite disappointed. The room was very cold with no heat and the front desk person wasn't the nicest when we asked for extra blankets. We weren't expecting the red carpet but at least a "thanks so much for choosing to stay here for your honeymoon". Some of the staff were great but generally no one cared that we had chose Dalvay for our honeymoon over Blackbush or elsewhere. It's a beautiful place but badly needs updating as the gov't did recognize and will eventually put money into the main building. But, we wouldn't stay there again until that happens.
