Guest：This was the perfectly located place to stay. I would re-book when I next come to Melbourne. Royal Park and Melbourne Zoo are within walking distance. It’s a seven minute walk to two tram routes that take you into the CBD, one of which will take you to the beach at St Kilda. There are lots of restaurants and bars close by too - we ate lovely meals on Lygon and Sydney Streets. We received a wonderful welcome to Parkville Place. T was absolutely the best: he was very friendly, helpful and informative. The owner was equally friendly and helpful. As for the room it had all one needed for a short to medium term stay. The bed was very comfortable, a recently renovated bathroom, kitchen facilities: kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge. We also had a small shaded courtyard. Although the corridor to our room looked a bit tired, improvements are in hand.
Guest：Staff were terrific and very helpful. Room could be a bit cleaner. Ground floor room was very noisy.
Guest：Not really sure why people are rating this with 8's and 9's as it's simply not the case. It is however a very cheap "serviced" apartment in Brunswick so you have to remember you get what you pay for. Staff were nice but the building and room was dated, tired and smelly. Air Con looked like it survived ww2, very noisy and not particularly effective. There is a door around the side of the building which is chocked open day and night allowing absolutely all of Brunswicks riff raff to come and go as they please. This leads to security concerns, noisy and messy hallways, randos knocking on your door, drug problems etc. If you want cheap look no further but if you've got options I think you can do better. Rated 3 overall because of the price but it's probably more of a 2. Wouldn't stay again.
Guest：Really no service , hot water turned off at 8pm , small heaters , doors locked at 8pm have to enter through the side.
