Guest：We had a really lovely stay at Brij Villa Dalhousie – A Colonial Luxury Retreat and would highly recommend it. From the start, the hospitality was excellent — warm, attentive, and genuinely caring, to the point where it felt even better than being at home. The property is beautiful and very well maintained, set in a peaceful and scenic location. The colonial-style building has a lot of character, and the nearby abandoned kothis, all within short walking distance, add a quiet charm and give a sense of what Dalhousie must have been like years ago. A special thanks to Sachin, the manager, who made sure everything was smooth and comfortable throughout our stay. Rahul and Anuj were also outstanding — always polite, helpful, and ready to assist with anything we needed. The food was a highlight. The chef was very accommodating and customized meals as per our preferences. The Makki di Roti with Sarson da Saag was excellent, and the Pahadi mutton is definitely worth trying. I also have to add — I had one of the best khichdi’s here ??. Every meal felt thoughtfully prepared and clearly made with a lot of love. On clear days, the view to the east offers a glimpse of the snow-capped Himalayas, which is truly beautiful and worth waking up early for. Overall, Brij Villa offers a comfortable stay, great food, and warm service in a lovely setting. A place we would happily return to.
