  • Guest：… wow what can we say … from the moment we arrived we were looked after, welcomed by the entire team upon arrival, welcome champagne we were took to our room which was amazing like an old epic ski lodge, everything and I mean everything was taken care of the entire experience from the restaurant which tbh is Michelin level easily to the games room to being toured around Queenstown and shown the sights .. if only the rest of Queenstown provided service to this level… we can’t even begin to fully describe the hospitality we received… Thank you team, much love and respect..
  • Guest：First and foremost: amazing property in terms of location and upkeep, however - check-in felt quite soulless and lacking, housekeeping were overly present and spread out which I felt like I couldn't escape at times when just trying to relax around the property. Overall I honestly did enjoy the setting and location just not the staff which obviously play a huge part in the stay no matter the property. So therefore, it's hard in this case to look past that aspect. I understand that every individual undoubtedly works hard and I'm sure try's their best. But my encounters, interactions, and observations of staff were sadly just not good during my stay. Especially with Damien Brown who I believed let down and disappointed at such an otherwise prestigious and enjoyable property.
  • Guest：Immaculate lodge with fantastic staff that really took care of us. We stayed one night and was worth it for the special treat.
  • Guest：Our 3 night stay was lovely, but for this price point, there were too many “bummers”. Positives: The views were truly outstanding, the bed/bedding comfortable, included breakfasts and dinners were tasty. Damien the sommelier and Oliver the bartender/server were terrific. Fun to swim and kayak in the lake with a feeling of having it all to yourself. Easy drive into Glenorchy to access walks/shops. Issues: -Speed/attentiveness of meal service was inconsistent. Given the limited guest count, this seems like it must be an issue of needing more staff. -Towels at the pool ran out twice in a 3 day stay. -Overall property lacked any NZ character, including the inexplicably windowless game room/lounge. -Body Wash and other bathroom toiletries were not great quality (despite being specially branded for Blanket Bay) and to still be using single serve plastic containers for these seems off the mark, esp in NZ.
