Grandhotel Praha is located Tatranska Lomnica, at the foot of Lomnicky Peak, right in the heart of High Tatras and only 2953 feet from the nearest ski elevator. Guest：We stayed here 2 nights and we enjoyed this stay fullest. Our suite called "modern" but unfortunately it was far away from it. Room was quite big and spacious, but furniture was oldschool. But we've got nice view from our balcony. In our bathroom was waiting for us very cute box with some cosmetic products. Unfortunately we could not use kitchen (what for we chose suite), cause there was absolutely not basic cooking ingredients (like salt, pepper, oil etc) and there was only one cooking pot (but two plates cooking)... Breakfast was absolutely fabulous, 5 stars. Dinner was also delicious. Wellness was great. We really appreciated skipasses included in our stay and enjoyed not planned trip to Lomnicky peak and skiing as well. We would like to come back again.
Guest：Been here second time and will come again. We had breakfasts and dinners included and both been 10/10 every day. Food there is really good with many choices. Wellness is also 10/10 is big spacious and with everything What should be there plus there is outside pool too. Rooms are big and modern in that newer part of the hotel. Staff is friendly and profesional except for one slightly rude receptionist on our arrival, then we meet her again for few times another days and also on our check-out and she was ok. We spend lot of times out hiking and eating and it was very easy to get everywhere from the hotel or from Tatranská Lomnica. But they should add extra train carriage on peak times. Then Tatranská Lomnica also need to wake up a bit as to compare it to Zakopane for example where always something happen and somwthing going on and live music is almost everywhere and atmosphere is much better, Tatranská Lomnica is not like that. Anyway this hotel worth a visit our overall experience was both times 10/10 and if you visit do not skip Stará mama restaurant closed to train station with Slovakian traditional food and go for a hike in those beatiful mountains. There are lot of hikes for begeniers too or just stay and relax is this amazing historic wellness hotel in mountains.
Guest：We stayed in the hotel during our trip to Lomnicky ?tít. The hotel is situated approximately 15 minutes walk from the train station. Very quiet part of Tatranská Lomnica not far from the mountains. Came bit early checked in and luggage left in the receptions cupboard. Here I would suggest to put a room tag on the luggage and when room ready put it inside rather then leaving it the reception room. It would be just an extra step to make a better impression. We stayed in the double room. Spotless clean, bathroom needs update but overall with minibar in the room I would give 4.5 stars for the room. Spa was absolutely amazing and I have visited many hotels before and their spa with lot of saunas, massages etc is comparable to 5 star hotels. Outside and inside pool, jacuzzi, bar makes it perfect place to spend time after all day hiking in Tatras. Public areas, toilets and lounge spotless clean and not busy. Absolutely loved the breakfast and is exactly the same standard what you get in 5 star hotels. Huge selection of food, drinks, polite and effective staff. Amazing. I want to say big thanks to Grandhotel Praha staff to make our stay memorable. My expectations I had before our stay were exceeded completely. Thank you.
Guest：Nice historical hotel, exceptional food, not a big selection but very good. The hotel staff are pleasant and friendly. Hotel is a short distance to the lifts, bobsleigh track and children's attractions. At the reception for a fee of 2 euros you can get a goocard and cable cars, and some swimming pools in the area are free of charge, which is great.
