Guest：Stayed in the Elephant Suite, beautifully decorated room with a stunning view, friendly staff, delicious food, would definitely recommend Buhala and can't wait to go back.
Guest：The welcome was warm with cake and hot drinks offered. The staff were professional but friendly. The accommodation was exceptional with amazing views over the Crocodile River. Dinner was a gastronomic experience served outdoors with exciting sighting of wildlife in the gardens and river. The African night sky added to the ambience. Our personal guide Connor Beukes, treated us to a veritable feast sharing his extensive knowledge of the Bush, the Big Five, birds and other animals in their natural habitat. He also educated us about all the vegetation and how the Kruger adapts to its animals. The highlight was sighting of a leopard on both days; one day using vehicles as camouflage and the other day, seeing a leopard slink across the road stalking impala on the river bed below.
Guest：Jo - United Kingdom. Fantastic lodge right on Crocodile River. Staff were so friendly from the moment we arrived. Had previously requested a room upgrade but was told they were full but as they had a cancellation we were given an upgrade with wrap around balcony on arrival. Waking up to the amazing view over crocodile river with water buffaloes and elephants was wonderful. Buhala lodge went above and beyond to make our stay one to remember. Whole reason for our stay was so my husband could play golf at Leopard Creek a bucket list for his 60th birthday. BL organised everything down to club hire. I booked Elephant Whispers whilst he was playing golf and again transfer and everything organised via them. Food was amazing and evening meal although not included in price was very competitive (￡30 for three courses). Afternoon tea was beautiful. Compliments on the beautiful cakes. Only disappointment was that we weren’t staying longer than our two nights as we were travelling further south east to do safari. A wonderful peaceful retreat that will forever remain not only in our memories but in our hearts
Guest：The service from all the staff is second to none - you’re made to feel welcome and it feels like home away from home. The location is fantastic we had elephants within metres of the lodge. The safari’s they arranged were well managed and we got to see the big 5 plus many other animals. The food was fresh varied and great quality served with the great Buhala Lodge hospitality.
