Guest：This is a really lovely hotel in beautiful Alpbach. Traditional in the very best sense of the word – individual, family run and oozing quality and style. We had a lovely spacious “Sonnjoch“ room ( 254 - may be better view on higher floors). The new spa and pools area is absolute fantastic, the location just beautiful. Excellent activity programme available, thoroughly recommend guided walks with Andreas, and all staff so friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was amazing, loved afternoon cakes (or more) time, and evening meals very good and presentation excellent, though occasionally lacking a little in flavour. Travelled with Inghams, also highly recommended. Brilliant holiday – very much hope to return.
Guest：Always staying here a few times a year, sometimes with the family and kids and sometimes alone. There is nothing you could wish for here! Great rooms, the spa is amazing and has so much to offer for both adults and kids, summer or winter. Outstanding service and all the staff are very friendly and caring and always greet you with a smile.
Guest：This is my second visit this year I just love this hotel now with 5 stars. From the moment you arrive you are a friend the lady’s and gentlemen on the reception greet you with a smile and warmth . The room are stylish with a modern touch but still Austrian the new rooms in the new spa area are stunning one of the guests show me there suite. It was unbelievable with exceptional views. Food. One word 5 star Breakfast has all the hot and cold things to set you up for the day. There is also a small lunch buffet and then the afternoon cakes simply delicious. Dinner a truly 5 star event 6 courses and a choice of 3 menus so you can mix and match The kitchen team led by Hansi Treichl just outstanding the food is a delicious a joy for your taste buds There is all so an optional tasting menu on Thursday Friday Saturday 3/5/7 courses. Well worth the extra for a unique experience. The hotel has over 400 wines on its list. And with wine sommelier Hannes Margreiter on hand you can not go wrong. Their house wine is also hand crafted. There is a very nice bar with music 2 times a week On Tuesdays mr Duftner hosts a wine tasting in the 300 year old cellar it free and to try it Are are walks most days with a resident guide. All this is overseen by the Duftner family with love and care for each of there guests. I went on an INGHAMS package there the only uk company to use them you will not be disappointed.
Guest：Another heavenly fortnight being cossetted at the Boglerhof Hotel in the village of Alpbach. We enjoy the walks around the area and find new routes every time we visit. This holiday began at the end of August's summer sunshine and ended in autumn's first mists and snowfall. It was magical seeing the seasons switch in the mountains from the comfort of a Sonnjoch room on the 4th flour. As always the service and the food are very good. We ate from the Austrian menu most nights. The meat and fish dishes are particularly good and are beautifully presented. A lot of care goes into the menus. Breakfasts are consistently good and we were pleased to see that the range of seeds, nuts, fruits for Bircher museli fans has been expanded. We enjoy using the vegetable juicer and the fresh orange juice machine. This year we noticed they provide Hausbrot sourdough loaves from the local bakery. Delicious! The new spa is spacious and well equipped. We used the new communal areas to swim and sauna most afternoons. The separate treatments, facial and hot stone massage, were good. The young saunameister was very talented with his twice daily event saunas - lovely herbal scents and light shows. It would be great to add further events with classical music and ambient sounds. On a couple of afternoons I used the old spa area (now called called the family spa) which was wonderfully quiet and relaxing. We can honestly say we felt ten years younger by the time we returned to the UK!
