  • Guest:We just got back from a stay at this hotel and we absolutely love the location, the beach - the food and the staff. The head butler Jonathan, the amazing Seagrapes staff is wonderful, warm and attentive. Is it a perfectly polished resort? No - and that's what makes it welcoming and enjoyable. Our family loved the hammock garden - the yard games, the pool and the gorgeous natural surroundings. We were able to fully relax in this beautiful and special place.
  • Guest:So the people are the nicest ever l !! The hotel part of the four seasons is to die for and perfect. The villas are a little old !! Need a make over !! Las verandas needs a re do bad. The best part of the hotel is the animal sanctuary. I have donated and spent time there. It’s beyond heartbreaking and makes me so sad. Please if anyone can donate and adopt those poor abused animals. I will be back and definitely only stay in the hotel part. Over all amazing. Definitely just the villa was the only downfall. The staff was the best ever and the food was delicious. Stay in the HOTEL !!
  • Guest:We stayed as a party of seven—six adults and one 7-year-old—at Villa Mango at Las Verandas - which was was perfectly suited for our group. The main reason we chose this resort was for the lush, established landscaping, and it exceeded our expectations. If you love nature, this place is truly a dream. The grounds are beautifully maintained with an incredible level of care, and it feels peaceful and organic rather than sterile or hotel-like. There is a quiet pool directly across from the villa, which was lovely, but we spent most of our time at the beach pool area since it had more sun. We stayed during a transition period when the property was shifting from the St. Regis to the Four Seasons, so a few amenities were temporarily closed. That said, it was actually very nice because the resort was not crowded at all. The beach club pool area is beautiful and immaculately kept. There is a bar and restaurant (closed for most of our stay), and the service was excellent. The beach itself is stunning and clean, though it was quite wavy during our visit. A lifeguard was always on duty. The pool is not heated, so it can feel a bit cool at first, but it was refreshing and enjoyable. Towels, sunscreen, and lemon water were always provided, which was a very nice touch. There is an adults-only pool area on the upper level and a family pool on the lower level, as well as a volleyball net. HUGE SHOUTOUT to Victor who was an absolute gem. Victor assisted us with getting set up at the beach and was one of the highlights of our stay—friendly, attentive, and genuinely wonderful. Important Note on Access Now that the property is operated as a Four Seasons, the main hotel and hotel pool are reserved for primary residents and hotel guests only. Guests staying in the villa do not have access to those specific areas, which is important to note—but the villa amenities and beach club more than made up for it. One of the most special and unexpected features of the property is the on-site animal sanctuary, where guests can visit and even help care for dogs and cats during their stay. There is also a small farm with donkeys, goats, sheep, and chickens, which children absolutely love and adds such a charming, memorable element to the experience. While many restaurants were closed during our stay, we did dine at Paros and the beach club restaurant. Both were excellent in terms of food and atmosphere, though—as expected at a luxury resort—on the pricier side. This was a truly special stay. Between the incredibly well-stocked villa, the beautiful and serene grounds, the unique experiences on property, and the outstanding host and management, it exceeded our expectations in every way. We would highly, highly recommend staying here and would absolutely return.
  • Guest:This probably a true 4.5 star hotel experience. It’s in need of a little refreshing and updating (I know Four Seasons is taking over soon so I’m sure it’ll come with that change). The staff is very good, but not excellent. Also will improve with FS in charge I’m sure. The beach was too rough and windy for us to utilize when we visited which was quite a disappointment with our four year old. Especially to fly 4.5 hours for a beach. Maybe due to it being February but it seemed like that was the time to visit? We loved the size of the rooms- huge bathrooms, nice entrance way, luggage storage area and a really nice sized porch. We had two queen beds for my husband, myself and our toddler and we didn’t feel on top of each other at all. We loved the proximity to El Yunque- highly recommend visiting. We rented a Jeep for El Yunque, restaurants off the resort and Old Town which really enhanced our trip and made it memorable. The pool here is probably one of the nicest I’ve ever been to (and we’ve been to A LOT of nice resorts all over the world- see previous reviews). There’s some iguanas that swim through which we enjoyed. The pool was NOT heated though so we were definitely freezing from time to time, again this is February. All in all, a great expansive resort. Excited to see what Four Seasons does with it to improve service and update- will return once it has changed hands as they have some work to do to make it a true five star property.
