Guest：We had a lovely stay. Felt very welcome . Mark( front of house ) was brilliant , Charlene.. very helpful and we had the best breakfast Ive eaten in ages . Great stay ..will be back Don’t forget to try the “silly Moo “ cider
Guest：We had lunch there with my parents as it was halway between them in Horsham and ourselves in Winchester. Excellent food, the moules & frites were particularly good. Very friendly service. We then stayed the night, very comfortable room, real coffee & cafitiere, and fresh milk! We had a bar snack, whch was also very tasty and thoroughly enjoyed a lovely conversation with the landlord Nicholas who was running the bar; he is said to be the most smartly dressed bartend on the South Coast, and we woudl fully agree - charming, and very entertaining.
Guest：Very much enjoyed our stay. Good rooms with excellent food and drink in the restaurant. This makes a lovely getaway location. We enjoyed all the nearby South Downs walks and places of interest such as Petworth House and Living Museum at East Dean with Walled Gardens at West Dean. Amazing staff - Charlene, plus Charlene’s lovely and capable daughter, Nick, Louis, the charming South African artistic lady owning horses, and many others. All with friendly and outgoing characters. Special thanks to the cleaners who were also excellent. This place is highly recommended for visiting the South Downs or Goodwood Races. Hope to be back in the future.
Guest：A friend booked rooms for herself and me so we could meet up when I visited the UK from Hungary. What an inspired choice. Utterly charming and helpful staff, lovely rooms in the superbly converted stables, and a first rate supper (and breakfast the next morning) in the restaurant.
