Guest：Exceptional service from the moment we arrived. CJ took our bags and escorted us to our 2 bedroom, 2 bath suite with patios on the top floor overlooking the bay. Beautiful beachfront location with rooms facing beach on one side and bay on the other. There are daily planned activities, live music in the evening, a wonderful spa and gorgeous infinity pool. We had body scrubs and massages with Raysi and Miledy two caring, talented professionals. We were celebrating my sister’s birthday. Bethany at the front desk along with our therapists went out of their way to make her day special! Rooms are modern, spotless and well planned out. Location is on the Dutch side of Island, private and quiet yet very close to the French border. If you don’t mind driving uphills and around turns rent a car at the airport and you will find it’s easy to get around all over the island. Can’t wait to return!
Guest：Negative: The ladies at the front desk are not really what you could call welcoming. They also need to know that if a guest comes over and ask a question, it is because they need clarity, not because they're dumb or trying to take on more than they paid for, that's the impression i was given. And they started laughing and talk behind my back as soon as i was stepping out. The free breakfast this place advertise is a joke, be ready to pay for your eggs, bacon, sausage. Room appearance is old, for a resort of that price the TV they have is a joke. The Water in the shower was really slow as well. Positive: The restaurant, the bar, the pool, the hot tub, the outside view is great, and the people that work on property are amazing. (The front desk ladies are not)
Guest：At OBR the apartment suites were impeccibly designed and decorated. Please note that at this resort there exist only one building that is Handicap equipped with elevators. The beach is private and small. As far as the location, it is located on the other side of the island, but still on the Dutch side of SXM. That said if you book in high sesaon, you are looking at a ride of 30 + minutes to and from the airport. Staff at OBR was on point! The restaurants, The Infinity (lambchops) and the Veranda (mini Tuna bagette and BLT mini baguette)were absolutely to die for. Of course with anything else there's always a "you cant please everyone". Drinks fell in the later category. A BIG COMMENDATION to HOUSEKEEPING STAFF, Althea. Front Desk Associate Tenika, and Associate support Nelson. You three made our stay MOST MEMORABLE. Continued Blessings Always!!
Guest：Great location with a friendly, courteous staff. With the beach, the pool, and the restaurants, you can spend your whole visit without leaving the resort.
