Guest：From the moment you enter the Manor you feel totally relaxed and at peace .Everything about the hotel ticked all our boxes, Room clean spacious and perfect temperature .Evening meal was delicious , well presented and definitely plentiful. After a peace sleep we experienced the spa . This could not be faulted .The manager of the spa was happy to recommend products and treatments . Breakfast was perfection too . The biggest accolade is the entire staff .Not a single person could be singled out as each and everyone went beyond the call of duty to do everything to make our stay exceptional. I like the was everything is sourced locally and air miles are kept to an absolute minimum. The is indefinite no corporate chain .This is a family run business and it shows . Everyone is working with the same goal . Customer satisfaction and that can not be bettered . Exceptional value for money . Really looking back to a return visit .
Guest：Our room was ready,even though we arrived early to use the spa,we were shown our room,which I was very happy with.We used the spa which was very luxurious and the staff were very helpful We then had a lovely evening meal of chicken supreme and my husband had curry as we decided not to go into the village as it kept raining. Breakfast was lovely with lots of choice and all the staff were very helpful.We were also advised local things to see and do in the area.We would visit again as very happy with everything on our stay.
Guest：Excellent spa experience, clean and well presented rooms and lovely food. Couldn’t fault anything. Minor improvement would be a swimsuit dryer or access to plastic bags for wet swimwear. The hotel was very warm throughout which is not a bad thing for Cumbria in Autumn. Staff were very good, friendly and attentive
Guest：Booked this hotel last minute. What a choice. The old manor house which is where our room is is excellent and tons of character. WE went to the Garden spa too which is like chalk and cheese in terms of how modern and nice this is. perfect contrast and excellent also. Would highly recommend for a peaceful relaxing stay with views for days.
