  • Guest：????? We spent two nights at Langdale Boutique Hotel by Amaya and absolutely loved it. The hotel is tucked away in the middle of endless tea fields, and the views are just stunning, it feels like a little world of its own. What made our stay so memorable was the incredible staff. From start to finish, they made us feel so welcome and genuinely cared for, nothing was ever too much trouble. A special thank you to the reception and wait staff, as well as Chef Guiamme, who not only cooked us the most delicious meals but also took the time to share his recipes for Coconut Jam, Dhal, and Onion Sambal. We can’t wait to try them at home and share them with our friends and family. Such a thoughtful gesture that made our stay feel extra personal. We were kindly upgraded for our stay and the room was very comfortable and cozy, and we both slept so well and got the perfect recharge after exploring. We also loved the facilities — the heated pool was perfect after a day of adventuring, the mini golf is a nice touch and the walks around Langdale’s estate were peaceful and beautiful. We also used the laundry service which did a truly excellent job and refreshed our belongings for our onward journey. This was one of the highlights of our trip to Sri Lanka, and we’ll look back on it fondly. If you’re looking for warm hospitality, beautiful surroundings, and truly outstanding service, Langdale is the place to stay.
  • Guest：Its a traditional old, but very cute hotel. We stayed for two nights in the room with an absolutely great view over the Teafields. The weather wasn't really good but it doesn't matter. The pool was a little bit cold, but the hotel can make it heaten up, so it was ok to get in there. The Service and the Executive Chef Gamini was the best! Absolutely delicious food! Overall, this hotel combines excellent food, pristine facilities, and engaging amenities for a truly outstanding experience.
  • Guest：We choose this following recommendations from some family members who had stayed here. This is a small boutique hotel with few rooms. What makes this special is the location and needless to say the staff. Our room on the first floor was clean and spacious. The restaurant was ala carte and you were asked to select your meal in advance. At meal times we had the chef come out and check if we needed anything else and to make sure everything was fine. I believe his name was Gamini. No complaints about breakfast or dinner. Outside there is a tennis court, a mini gold course which we made use of, a small swimming pool which was heated and there were a few deck chairs. You could walk out and wander among the tea plantation. The view is stunning and seeing the low lows descent in the distance early morning was awesome. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I would rate this 5/5.
