Guest：Beautiful, charming and staff was excellent
Guest：The cottages are adorable, clean and comfortable. I appreciated the friendliness of the staff and cleaning people were great! My only complaint is that we stayed in the anchorage cottage, it’s attached to the utilities building and office and was a bit noisy in the morning. Sleeping was hard to do at 5:00am and on. But otherwise I would stay here again but choose a different room. Although, I am gluten and dairy free the last two days of our stay they accommodated me with their breakfast and snacks. I highly recommend this place.
Guest：We loved the setting at Cabot Cove, peaceful and quiet, and it was very close to the town. The staff was soooo nice and friendly, especially the young lady who serviced our room. Our cottage was serviced every day and very clean. We received delicious chocolate whoopee pies upon arrival, a warm continental breakfast delivered to our door daily (although one day was a delicious pecan roll and my husband is allergic to nuts!), and an afternoon snack! Then a goodie bag upon departure! We would choose a different cabin to stay in - our cabin, Seamist #8, was one of a few that didn't have a little front porch/area with Adirondack chairs to sit on with our morning coffee....it had a small side patio with an old table and chairs. The"sharp" knives were so dull that we even had a hard time cutting cheese :(. And the queen-sized bed was not comfortable - we're used to that size but we rolled together in the middle all night. As another reviewer said, the cottages are VERY small, so be aware....we had nowhere to open our suitcases! We would recommend getting a cottage that's a bigger option even if more money. We wish the office could supply ice (we asked but there didn't) - there was one ice cube tray in our freezer which only lasted a couple drinks. All in all, we would stay there again but choose a different cabin.
Guest：This was exactly what we wanted, a quaint Maine summertime getaway from the Texas heat. These cottages are located in the perfect location. We walked pretty much everywhere during our stay! They even had bikes guests could use to get around but we preferred to leisurely stroll. Only a 10-15 minute walk to Dock Square. The nature surrounding the cottages was stunning. I saw plenty of cute chipmunks and we got a kick out of watching geese in and around the cove. It is a tidal cove so the water comes and goes. There were so many good spots to read outside. Our cottage, the Anchorage Studio, was the smallest of all the cottages I believe. But it was still a perfect size for a couple. The personal touches like the warm greeting we received, daily breakfast deliveries to our door, random warm chocolate chip cookie deliveries, and even our warm goodbye upon departing (which included a painting of the cottages!) were a standout. The bed we had was a little lumpy but it ended up working out fine, no sore back or neck! Overall, I was very happy with our stay. It really is such a unique little place! We definitely want to make our way back one day.
