  • Guest：Wer Ruhe und Natur liebt ist hier richtig! Hinter dem Haus ist eine gro?e Wiese, in die ein Rundweg gem?ht wurde. Von diesem hat man einen tollen Blick zum Loch Lomond und Ben Lomond. Unser Zimmer (das zum Parkplatz) war extrem klein, aber gemütlich, geschmackvoll und blitzsauber. Im Kühlschrank waren Zutaten fürs Frühstück. Bestellen bei der netten Chefin konnte man ohne Aufpreis ein volles schottisches Frühstück, Rührei mit Lachs oder Porridge. Das Frühstück wird pünktlich zur Wunschzeit auf′s Zimmer geliefert. Einmal konnten wir drau?en in der Sonne frühstücken, das war herrlich. Schnell ist man an guten Wanderausgangspunkten und am hervorragenden Restaurant The Pier! 100% Weiterempfehlung!
  • Guest：Die Sheildaig Farm liegt oberhalb von Balloch im Wald und ist nur über ein steile und mit Schlagl?chern versehene Naturstrasse zu erreichen. Die Bilder von *********** erwecken den Eindruck einer grosszügigen Farm mit gepflegten und modernen R?umen, unter anderem für das Frühstück, für die G?ste. Diese geh?ren aber zum privaten Bereich der Farm und k?nnen von den G?sten nicht genutzt werden. Faktisch stehen den G?sten in den ehemaligen Stallungen oder anderen Zwecken der Farm zugeh?rigen Geb?uden vier kleine Zimmer zur Verfügung. Die Zimmer sind mit einem Doppelbett, zwei Nachtk?stchen und einer kleinen Küchenzeile mit Mikrowellenofen und Kühlschrank, sowie einem Tisch und zwei Stühlen m?bliert. Die Platzverh?ltnisse sind sehr eng. Das ?ffnen des Koffers im Zimmer ist nur mittels Verschieben der M?bel m?glich. Für die Aufbewahrung des Koffers findet sich im Zimmer kein Platz. Der Gast ist angehalten, das Frühstück am Vorabend oder am n?chsten Morgen mit genauer Zeitangabe und mittels Handy zu bestellen und bekommt das Frühstück in einer grossen Plastikbox geliefert um es dann im Zimmer einzunehmen. Das Aufdecken und Abr?umen sowie eine allf?llige Reinigung bleibt dem Gast überlassen. Bei einem Aufenthalt von zwei Tagen wird kein Zimmerservice angeboten. Frische Badetücher oder Bettw?sche k?nnen aber bei der Besitzerin geholt werden. Bei sch?nem Wetter stehen den G?sten im Aussenbereich zwei Holztische und B?nke für ein Open-Air- Frühstück zur Verfügung. Fazit: die Ausschreibung und die Fotos dieses B+B mit Privatr?umen, die vom Gast nicht benutzt werden dürfen, stimmen nicht mit den Bedingungen vor Ort überein. Die Bilder der nicht für den Gast zur Verfügung stehenden R?umlichkeiten dürfen in der Ausschreibung nicht mehr erscheinen. Korrekterweise sollte die Ausschreibung lauten: abgelegenes und schwierig erreichbares kleines und einfaches B+B ausserhalb von Balloch.
  • Guest：We had The King Room, it had a king sized bed, toaster, microwave, fridge and Lesley had stocked it with orange juice, fresh fruit, yoghurt and fresh milk. We were also given chocolates each day and the breakfast that is delivered to your room was so yummy. The shower is large and the towels big and fluffy! Everything was spotlessly clean. They have mowed a path through the meadow behind the house and the views of Loch Lomond are amazing, there are benches to rest on as it is a hill but so worth it. We loved the place so much that we didn’t go sight seeing at all, preferring to stay and watch TV and relax. It is my favourite B & B
  • Guest：What a wonderful bed and breakfast. Certainly one of the best I’ve stayed in across the country. The place is beautiful, rooms spotless and very well presented. Lesley is an amazing host, very welcoming. The breakfast provided by Lesley is out of this world many options, and delivered to your room fresh in the morning along with a freshly made pot of coffee! The accommodation is 5 minute drive from the bars and restaurants of Balloch, therefore very well situated indeed. I can’t recommend this place highly enough and will certainly be back!
