  • Guest：The property was perfect for we needed. We had 13 people and plenty of room to spread out. Everything was clean except under the couch cushions when we went to open up the sleeper sofa. The smoke detector decided to start chirping at 11:30 pm so we had to do a bit of circus act to reach them as the ceilings are very high. We bought a new battery and replaced it the next day. Other than that it was a great weekend. Would definitely stay here again.
  • Guest：Joe and I have never had a better welcoming as we did at Shady Brook. Vernon was waiting for us to arrive outside and greeted us with a smile and handshake. Vernon even put”Welcome Joe and Rhonda”on the sign outside the hotel. That has never happened to us EVER and we travel all over the U.S. The room was spotless and so comfortable to spend the weekend. Thank you for your hospitality. We can’t wait to come back.
  • Guest：The beds/mattresses are all very uncomfortable. The couch with the sleeper sofa are both very uncomfortable.. There is Wi-Fi and internet but we had no cell phone service. There is no restaurant/cafe. It’s all boarded up and has been for awhile. Where we parked and walking up the stairs to the entrance were slippery with ice. The kitchen was wonderful and Vernon had provided bagels, fruit, and juice with a birthday cake. Vernon is a delight. Everything was very clean. We felt that since the resort is for sale the owners are just not putting anymore money in to it. We will not be going back.
  • Guest：I had an amazing stay at Shady Brook Inn. Vernon made our stay so special. He even welcomed us with a birthday cake and bottle of wine for my boyfriend who was celebrating his birthday. The Inn was in a wonderful location. Our unit was beautiful and very comfortable. I would highly recommend the Shady Brook Inn :)
