  • Guest：Wow! This hotel was decked out in local art and crafts. It was very cool! the room had a kitchenette and the bedroom was a loft upstairs. The service was wonderful - they helped with dinner reservations and coordinating laundry pickup and put lovely little flowers in the bathroom. We really enjoyed sitting right outside our rooms and eating our yummy breakfast!
  • Guest：We had an amazing stay at Los Ponchos. Our room was clean and tastefully decorated, and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast is made to order and served outside your room. You can choose from a wide variety of items on the menu. The hotel is located in a quiet neighbourhood overlooking the lake. Taxis are very inexpensive and plentiful and will get you to the centre of town in just a few minutes. We had dinner at the hotel one night. The menu is simple, but the meal was well-prepared. In fact, the hotel restaurant made the best milanese (breaded beef cutlet) that we had in our entire stay in Argentina. The empanadas were outstanding, too. However, the best thing about the hotel is the staff. Everyone, and I mean everyone, made us feel welcome and showed a personal interest in us. They are genuinely warm and the definition of hospitality. Los Ponchos is where you want to stay if you’re visiting Calafate.
  • Guest：Los Ponchos goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. It is a small boutique hotel a few KMs from downtown, but cabs are cheap, and then is a lovely boardwalk if you want to make the trek into town. Caro was excellent, ensuring all of our needs were met, providing tea and fresh cold water when we arrived back after a full day, booking dinner reservations, and generally helping us with tips and suggestions.
  • Guest：We had the most delightful stay at Los Ponchos which we chose on our trip to include a visit to the Perito Moreno glacier & our stop before driving across the border into Chile. The hotel is beautifully decorated with charming details and our room had a lovely view of the lake. The breakfast & dinner was delicious. Each and every member of staff could not have been more charming or helpful. We were on a month long trip around South America and our stay with you at Los Ponchos was a highlight. Thank you!
