Guest：From:?????????????? Couple in mid to late 20s We stayed at Hotel Pineta Campi during the first week of October 2023. This hotel and apartments deserves its 4 star rating. We stayed in an apartment with a Mountain View and balcony. Here’s the honest pros and cons… Pros: ? The view is wonderful ? The apartment is modern and very clean ? The pools and sauna were nice, can’t comment on the jacuzzi as we only tried it once and the bubbles weren’t on (not sure why) ? Situated close to Limone Sul Garda - a must visit location ?? ? We didn’t eat at the restaurant but it looked like the outside area had a lovely view ? Peaceful setting, a few walkable restaurants near by ? Good value for money Cons: ? The welcome wasn’t the friendliest, it was pretty average ? The apartment was a bit cold, but we personally didn’t want to pay extra for heating ? We had to spend a lot of time finding English channels on the TV - ended up mainly watching BBC World News just before bed ? No oven - I wish we new this as we done a shop on the way and bought some oven foods ? There’s dog(s) near by and we heard a fair bit of barking during our stay, luckily not through the night though ? Shower takes a long time to get hot ? Be prepared to be bitten by mosquitoes - obviously this isn’t the hotels fault, but it’s just a warning, so that you bring some bug spray. There’s also a lot of wasps that come to visit your balcony if you eat outside! ? Apartment block is quite far away from the hotel, you have to walk down a steep hill to get there so it’s missing the buzz and vibe of being around people ? Pay to play pool and there’s no triangle ? Paying extra for bedding and towels About the drive: As many reviews have already mentioned the roads are windy and they’re not kidding! We have rented cars in lots of locations and it was a bit tedious having to go up and down these little windy roads every time you want to go out! The journey to the bottom of the hill takes about 15 mins if you’re driving sensibly, which some people do and some don’t, (again, not the hotels fault). In our opinion, it’s well worth it for the view, but it all depends how much you like driving!
Guest：Poor selection at breakfast was poor. Dinner quality was average. Air conditioning only worked 3 days out if our 6 night stay. Had to complain about this 4 times.
Guest：Pro's . The hotel was lovely , great facilities. Clean and well maintained. rooms good size and comfortable . We had a lake view room and the view was stunning and lovely and quiet . Location was a bit out of the town so would need a car as very steep incline to get to hotel .Staff were friendly .Indoor pool / jacuzzi/gym great .The hotel has very good tennis facilitates also if you wanted to make use of . Con's . We had to complain 4 times over our 6 night stay about our air conditioning working only intermittently. 3 of those nights the room was too warm to sleep properly. FOOD - breakfast was the same things every morning , only fresh fruit was melon or apples/bananas plus tinned mixed fruit plus the usual continental breakfast items . Breakfast was buffet which is fine . Dinner has to be pre ordered the night before for starters / mains and you are given a few choices. Dessert was either tinned fruit salad , ice cream or one other dessert which looked pre bought in . Dinner is served from 7.30 pm until 10 pm . One night we went done to Dinner at 8 pm , by the time our mains were served the vegetable section and salad bar had been taken away and they were setting up the breakfast items . Our waiter very kindly got us some boiled potatoes at least to go with our meal . The hotel is supposed to be 4 star and I am guessing they got this due to the faculties but the food for us was not 4 star.
