Guest：Good destination for family packed with good entertainment for everyone
Guest：Best please ever ! What a beautiful stay ! I enjoyed it - my kids and family enjoyed it , my stay was too short would really have liked to have stayed longer . Lots of activities for the kids and adults and staff was absolutely amazing helpful and super friendly and engaging !
Guest：The condition of these units are of poor quality and definitely not worth R5600 (after online discount). The sliding doors are unsafe, as well as the windows. There’s a gap visible when the door is closed and they only use a hook to ‘lock’ the door. Any small object could easily be pushed from outside to lift this and the door could as well have been left open. The window just needs to be touched lightly and it falls open. Loose screws and doesn’t close properly. I wedged a big spoon in the window to prevent it from being pushed open. These are great security concerns. More than one hinge is broken in the bedroom and kitchen cupboards. We could only use one of the two showers because one is broken and the entire pipe shoots out when water is opened. The sink in the master bedroom is blocked/runs very slowly. Both toilet roll holders in the master bedroom’s bathroom are faulty and about to fall out of the wall. Both of them have to be held with one hand while getting paper with the other hand for it to be kept in place. I spent my first day calling maintenance and trying to make the unit more secure, but after an hour cancelled as we wanted to go out. I also reported items that were missing from the inventory list. I called maintenance again later that evening. They came out and looked. They said something was missing from the door and that they would come to fix the door the next day. That did not happen. We had to use our own initiative to secure the unit. While we waited for maintenance the following day, my wife went to do laundry. One washing machine was full of water that wouldn’t drain. The other machine was in use. She reported this and went again the following day and it was still the same. Also, R50 per wash compared to R20-R30 at other ATKV and Forever resorts. I spoke with Louwry, assistant manager at reception the following morning and said we were not interested in staying any longer and they could either move us to a better unit or compensate us for one night and we would find alternative accommodation. He offered to come and fix the unit. I told him all our stuff was in the unit and it would take a long time to fix everything. I was not willing to waste more time waiting for something that should have been right from the start. They wanted to move us to unit 60. We looked from the outside without the key just to see what it looked like. But the door at the kitchen had a rotten bottom end and one or two of the windows felt just as loose and made us decide to endure the second night. I’ve sent an email to Me Jordaan, the resort manager, but decided to write this review the following week after no reply. We were very disappointed. However, I gave it 2 stars as the restaurant was pretty good. Good food at reasonable prices. I would look elsewhere if you want to feel safe and enjoy a well-maintained unit. Avoid.
