  • Guest：The place was easy to find and well sign posted tonthe reception area. I was greetwd by a lovely lady who showed me to my room and explained everything from breakfast time, the WiFi password to the adjustment of the temperature. The room was beautifully arranged and decorated with a separate entry hall, cupboard, large bathroom, which was stocked with complimentary hair and body wash. The outside/courtyard area for thw guests was well maintained and looked like a lovely place to sit in the summer. The food at the restaurant was well prepared and presented. I can recommend their seasoned fries! I was really impressed by all of the staff here, the level of service and just how well the rooms were set out and maintained. It was a very peaceful and pleasurable stay.

  • Guest：Last minute overnight stay - great little pub with rooms in a nice village. Slightly disappointed on arrival to find the courtyard is being developed - all rooms seem to look out on this and probably should be advised at booking but didn't really impact us - will be amazing when it is finished (March we were told). Our room was spotless, nice styling, and was very comfortable. The pub is also nicely presented - cosy and welcoming in the bar area and restaurant. Our evening meal was enjoyable - food was fresh and gastro style , breakfast was excellent - the staff very attentive without being fussy. Local beers and English wine also on offer. The pub and rooms were busy the night we stayed but the manager made time to check on all guests and seems to have big ambitions for this place - we hope to get back there sometime.
