Guest：We had several difficulties with the room we checked in and notified the front desk who said they would address immediately. We left our room for almost 2 hours and the problems persisted upon our return. The front desk told us the technician had left for the day and would have to wait at least 20 minutes for his return. All other rooms were occupied so we had no option but to wait. Help did finally arrive and problem solved. I felt the hotel should have a better option to address technical issues than to wait 30 min for help. But overall, this was a very comfortable and spacious room with excellent wifi and a lovely view. The staff was polite and respectful during our problems and I give them props for this. The hotel is outdated and needs refurbishment, but overall I had a restful sleep and a positive stay here.

Guest：This was my third business trip to Batumi in twelve months. The previous two occasions I stayed in three-star hotels which were friendly, but rather down-market, especially the breakfasts. After a good deal of research, I booked Batumi World Palace. After my very positive experience, I shall be staying there from now on. Two young ladies in particular, helped with important arrangements: Nia and Lisa organised my airport transfers and helped with, well, everything else, from where to buy the best Georgian wine, directions to the Old Town, plus arranging packed breakfasts on days I had to leave the hotel before 08.00. The only breakfast I was able to eat in the hotel was an absolute feast, by the way. As a guest at the hotel, I was delighted to be invited to the opening of the new restaurant downstairs. The free food and drink that night was marvelous. I'm already looking forward to returning to work my way through the menu.Many thanks to Nia and Lisa.
