Hotel Anni 80 che, inspiegabilmente, mantiene le 4 stelle.
Però ci sono stato varie volte, e ci tornerò, per la sua posizione eccezionale a 50 metri dalla stazione di Latina Scalo, che vuol dire 35 minuti dal centro di Roma, ed il prezzo bassissimo.
Insomma, un hotel scadente, che sa di esserlo, e compensa con prezzo e logistica.
The second time that I have stayed here, on the initial recommendation of a friend. The hotel location is excellent - but more importantly the staff are first class. The welcoming approach, kind engagement and attention to detail is excellent and very much appreciated. Great value for money, right in the heart of Thamel - I will be back.
Hotel Excelsior is centrally located within the tourist area of Kathmandu. Amazing restaurants and plenty of shopping are steps away from the property. This is a boutique hotel that is quite the find amidst the chaos of downtown Kathmandu. The team is friendly and helpful, always smiling and ready to assist with anything we needed. We used the hotel as our base for trekking and the staff treated us like family. Without question, I would return to the hotel in the future and plan on staying there again on the next trip to Nepal.
15-October-2023: Once again the team at Hotel Excelsior did not disappoint. This was my third stay and the Excelsior and it now feels like coming home each and every time. .. The Hotel is centrally located in Thamel, Kathmandu and is easy to get to. The staff are friendly and courteous, the rooms are clean and tidy and the cafe on the roof is an awesome sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle on the streets below. The food and beverages are superb. It really is a wonderful boutique hotel and I can't wait to return. Thanks for everything. Regards, Sam McCready
Had a wonderful stay at Excelsior yet again! I always stay at excelsior whenever I visit Kathmandu, and I must say that I have always been extremely pleased with my experience. Rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Amazing service and friendly staff. Rooftop restaurant was impressive with amazing view and very relaxing and calming. Took a few pics of the rooftop restaurant because I loved the ambience. Convenient location right in middle of Thamel. What more can you ask for!
One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at with endless stunning views of old town, which is a short walk away. The beach area is a relaxing area to spend a day with several lounge chairs, quick access to the crystal clear sea, and staff to take your drink and food orders. The outdoor bar area is the perfect spot to drink a glass of local wine while watching the sunset. Rooms are comfortable and spacious. I was upgraded to a room with a terrace and had the best view of the fireworks show.
