Guest：While staff was wonderful and helped as much as possible our room was not what was advertised. The listing included Royal Level amenities like room service and access to certain restaurants and areas, but none of that was included. The property blocks off a large portion of the resort for Royal guests which made it feel restricted instead of all inclusive. The trip into town was ridiculously overpriced. The food made several of us sick during the trip and we are still dealing with stomach issues days later. This was a very disappointing experience for a trip that was supposed to be special for our family.

Guest：Occidental at Xcaret is impressive with inclusiveness: use of natural resources for architectural design, ambience, 24/7 guest services, cleanliness, maintenance, buffet, restaurants, bars, pharmacy, shops, and taxi service. One of our rooms that smelled like mildew was replaced with another within a few minutes.
Guest：Receptionist with bad attitude. No information was given about room location, restaurants activities etc. concierge staff not helpful or friendly. 95% of restaurants servers rude and would treat you accordingly to the bracelet color you wear (upgrade level). I would think twice before returning to this hotel.
