Guest：I booked and paid on Agoda but when I checked out, the hotel insisted that I hadn't paid and that I needed to pay before leaving. I showed them the payment acknowledgement from Agoda but that wasn't good enough. So, I paid $155 on Agoda and then $190 directly to the hotel. I was unimpressed. Agoda was absolutely useless at getting the money back but I contacted the hotel directly and they apologised and refunded the money. The hotel itself is clean and modern with spacious rooms. It seems to be more of a wedding venue than a hotel and it was almost empty when we visited.
