Guest：Everything about the Somerville is perfect! Arrived to find we had been upgraded to a gorgeous suite ; beautifully furnished and equipped -even with a lovely stained glass window. Helen & Peter are very friendly and welcoming; great recommendations for dining out.Breakfast has everything you could wish for! We hope to be back again soon.

Guest：We arrived early at The Somerville and as usual Peter came out and gave us a warm welcome. We're regulars here and receive first class service each time we stay, and this weekend was no exception. Peter is the font of all knowledge of the Torquay area; if there's anything you want to know, he is your man. Our room was spacious and well-equipped and our bed was very comfortable. Good quality toiletries were provided in the bathroom. Helen makes a delicious cake each afternoon so make sure you pick up a piece after your day out sight seeing. Breakfast was plentiful with a choice of cereals, fruit, yoghurt, croissants and various cooked options should you so wish, we didn't go hungry. We had a wonderful stay and have already booked a weekend for Spring 2026.
Guest：Extremely clean, warm, quiet and comfortable. Very good hosts and staff providing great friendly service. Everything you could need was provided and some lovely touches like cookies and sweets in the room. We would definitely stay again.
