Guest：It's not bad, but... it needs urgent renovations. Worn curtains, blackout blinds with holes, and a gym stuck in the past. The staff was attentive, which made our stay memorable and the price-quality ratio worthwhile. I recommend it if you don't expect too much.
Guest：Pestana Village is fantastic. It feels like a peaceful, flower-filled village with spacious villa rooms and gorgeous pools. The location near Funchal's promenade is great. The only minor point is the many steps due to the hillside gardens, which could challenge some. But it’s a small detail in a perfect holiday. 5 stars!
Guest：It's worth it if you want peace and space, but the location is a drawback. The apartments are large, clean and have kitchens, perfect for eating in. The gardens are lovely and the pools are inviting. The big "but": the hotel is on a hill away from the centre. Almost nobody walks to Funchal – you'll need a car or taxi for everything. Those who prefer to be in the thick of things might not like it. Also, some rooms look like they could do with an update. In short: choose this hotel for comfort and quiet, but be ready to spend money on transport.
