Hotel Nogai

The hotel is located in the historic building "House of printing". The building was built in constructivist style, and was completed in 1937. The Architect is Semyon Pan.
Constructivism, which proclaimed new aesthetic ideals such as simplicity and democracy, utilitarism of the objective world in the early twentieth century, played a prominent role in principle formation of modern architecture.
The architect gave the building's exterior the image of a giant open book. Strict straight lines are combined with smooth curves, and the huge laconic facade is visually facilitated by panoramic rows of windows.

The Nogai hotel has 154 comfortable rooms from economy to business class: modern rooms with excellent design, digital interactive TV, air conditioning, telephone, wireless Internet, safe, minibar, shower or bath, energy-saving electrical equipment, that is, everything necessary for a relaxing holiday.

The name of the hotel — "NOGAI" — is associated with the medieval history of the region full of beautiful legends. During the time of the Kazan khanate, local residents had close trade ties with the mighty steppe power — the Nogai Horde. Nogais were known as a skilled breeder and a skilled steppe warriors. Many details of the Russian and Tatar equestrian equipment are borrowed from the Nogai — specific harnesses and stirrups, a whip-nogaika.

The parking of our hotel also has its own original name — "Barabus". Once instead of "Nogai" was a parking of winter transport. Cabs, driving a sleigh-a sledge, said his clients "Barabas!" (the Tartar: "let's go!"). Gradually, the exclamation turned into the name of this fast and inexpensive kind of transportation.
