Guest：Sehr stilvoll und direkt am Strand gelegenes Luxus Ressort. Frühstück und Diner Buffet sind erstklassig mit t?glich wechselnden Geschmacksrichtungen. Bedienung und Service generell sind sehr schnell und zuvorkommend. Wassersportaktivit?ten k?nnen direkt im Hotel gebucht werden und sind teilweise kostenlos. Die Zimmer sind gross, mit bequemen Betten und allem was man braucht, nur das Bügeleisen hat uns gefehlt. Und der Umgebung ist fu?l?ufig nicht viel zu erreichen. Aber mit einem gemieteten Auto oder Taxi kann man die ganze Insel befahren.
Guest：The location was very nice .we used taxi from the hotel to go around went to two trips , market and shopping. The scenery was beautiful and especially the water falls was amazing. The atmosphere in lounge ,lobby and dinning area was not too crowded. We used to sit in lounge and dining area where there is sea view and was quite relaxing which was our favourite spot. The room service and the rooms was brilliant also it was very clean everwhere. The staff were just so kind and going beyond to help. decorated the room for my daughter forher birthday which was fantastic and good surprise for my daughter she was very happy. The room was very clean during our stay. I would wholeheartedly recommend Residence hotel in Mauritius if budget allows to anyone .
Guest：A magnificent hotel by the sea. Stunning architecture, a beautiful and well-maintained beach, but most of all, praise goes to the people who work in this hotel. They do everything to ensure that their guests truly enjoy their stay. The staff are always smiling, friendly, and courteous. It is worth coming back here for this reason alone.
Guest：We booked an ocean front room at The Residence for a week at a great price in the BA sale. Upon arrival we were delighted to be upgraded to a gorgeous suite with a large balcony overlooking the pools and the sea. Our package included half board. Breakfast and dinner were both excellent, with plenty of choice. We tried the main restaurant and the Plantation for lunch but found the food uninspiring, so after our second day decided to eat a bigger breakfast then miss lunch. As in other hotels I’ve visited in Mauritius, wine is expensive, due I think to import taxes. We opted to order by the glass and noticed that most other guests did the same. Local beer is better value. The complimentary snorkelling was fun (tip: take bananas - the fish love them!) We loved exploring nearby, walking around the back streets of Quatre Cocos, through the wooded area to the north of the hotel, and past the allotments where the locals grow fruit and vegetables including onions, papaya, bananas and various herbs. If you venture out, look for the fruit bats hanging in the trees though you’ll see them anyway at dusk flying over the hotel. The market in Flacq, open on Wednesday and Sunday each week, is a short taxi ride away and is also worth a visit. The staff at the Residence were all very friendly and always went out of their way to be as helpful as possible. Our flight back to London was an evening departure. We were allowed a late check out at no extra cost which was much appreciated. All in all we enjoyed our week very much.
