  • Guest：What a fun find away from the crowds near the station. Don’t let the location fool you, it is only a few minutes by tram. Our room was large, clean and comfortable. Loved that the building maintained much of its original fixtures and layout. The shower was fantastic. Large with lots of hot water and great pressure. Beds were super comfortable and having water, coffee and tea available in the room was a big plus.
  • Guest：I wanted so much to love this hotel but I haven’t slept in 5 nights. The hotel itself is beautiful, the employees at check in were great, really helpful. The room was good and had great amenities- apart from a lack of provision of toilet roll for a large family. Good so far however, our room was located next to the road and recycling bins so we had a rude awakening of reversing lorries and glass being tipped, other bin lorry’s and road sweepers, the bidfood van that arrived one morning was so loud it sounded like it was in our room. There is also a pub/restaurant at this point so the evenings were really noisy. On our last night kids running around the hallways screaming and trying all the room doors meant that in total I’ve had about 4 hour sleep a night for the whole trip. We didn’t use the restaurant for food whilst we stayed as there were no options for vegans but there is a good cafe and a tapas bar across the road and a few supermarkets and a fast food place a short walk away, highly recommend Bagel and Beans 10 minutes walk along the river .
  • Guest：We stayed in a split-level/double-floor room on the second floor. Each night we could hear music from downstairs until about midnight. It didn’t bother us too much since we go to bed late, but light sleepers should be aware. On the positive side, the shower had excellent water temperature and pressure. The front desk team was polite and professional, and housekeeping did a great job cleaning and tidying the room daily and replenishing fresh towels. We ate at the restaurant once, and unfortunately the service was the low point. I didn’t catch the waiter’s name, but he wasn’t very pleasant and it put a damper on what was our last-night dinner. Location-wise, the hotel is very convenient—right next to the train station and only three stops from Amsterdam Centraal. The vibe also seemed to skew younger rather than family-focused. Overall, I’d rate it 3 stars. It’s comfortable and well-located, but it didn’t feel like a 4–5 star experience, mainly due to the nighttime noise and the disappointing restaurant service.
  • Guest：Great location, great hotel overall with nice furniture, friendly staff, good breakfast. Only the beds (140cm) in the ‘Roomy’ rooms are too small for 2 people, we ended up paying extra for another room with a bigger bed.
