  • Guest：It has been an unforgettable experience. A perfect place to disconnect and relax. The hotel is spectacular, with typical local architecture. Huge, very cozy spaces, beautifully set with the decoration. The food was excellent, of outstanding quality, and prepared right on the spot. They cut the tuna right in front of you and put it on the grill for us to enjoy. It couldn’t be fresher!!!! The hotel’s entertainment staff were very friendly, especially Mathias, always cheerful and keeping the atmosphere lively all day long. The waiters, I would like to thank Baraza for the way he treated us. Always smiling and doing his job perfectly — an excellent professional and an even better person. A 10 for you And Neema too!! Thanks for everything. We will miss you. I recommend it 100%!
  • Guest：We visited the Gold Zanzibar hotel with our 3 teenage boys for a week in August and had the most amazing time! The food was incredible, so fresh, healthy and plenty of variety for everyone! The chef made the effort to visit tables after dinner to get feedback and took tips on anything else guests would like to see on the menu, truly commendable! Ali, Ayesha and Thomas were so generous with their invitations for drinks, dinner and other activities, always keen to know how their guest experience could be improved to ensure everyone has the very best time at their hotel. It was hugely appreciated! All the staff were amazing and truly what makes this hotel so special . The beach and activities team were energetic, friendly and always at hand to spend time with the younger guests with volleyball, table tennis and football. Not to mention their dancing skills, which were something else !! Ali organised an incredible day out swimming with dolphins and snorkelling which was definitely the highlight of our trip! The rooms were specious and very well maintained, we really couldn’t find fault with anything at this hotel! Thank you Gold Zanzibar for making our time on the island so special ! We hope to return!   • Guest：We stayed at Gold Zanzibar for our honeymoon and it was perfect! We stayed in the garden villa which was so spacious, and the private plunge pool was very fun to have. The staff was all so helpful, and even had our room set up with a complimentary bottle of champagne and fruit on arrival. Our butler, Jackeline, was so kind and attentive as well! There are shows with dinner each night which are very fun, and the buffet food is PHENOMENAL! We also had a body wrap and massage at the spa which was lovely, and did a spice tour and sunset dhow sailboat cruise through the hotel which were great. The hotel even gifted us a romantic dinner on the beach and the sailboat cruise as honeymoon presents which was very generous. The private beach cabanas were so nice to have, as the portion of the beach where it becomes public can be a bit hectic. Highly recommend staying here!
  • Guest：Gold Zanzibar was recommended by our travel agency for our one-week stay after 7 days of Safari in Tanzania. The hotel exceeded our expectations. We have liked our stay here very much because of the always friendly staff and waiters, the beautiful resort, very spacious rooms and the incredible food (half board, buffet restaurant Kilimanjaro) every day. The beach was also nice since there is no low/high tide. The only negative point was the yellow water park directly in fronf of the hotel beach. Special thanks goes to the amazing animation team of Gold Zanzibar for all the volleyball, table tennis, yoga & aquafit sessions, but especially Mathias (we loved the evening shows), Paul (thanks for keeping us fit!), Shaban & Izza - you’re doing an amazing job, always happy, smiling and funny. Hakuna matata & pole pole!
