Guest：An average hotel with average amenities. The building is quite old. Our room, the bathroom level and rest of the room, had a difference of 1 foot! so every time you bathroom, you jump 1 foot. Dangerous especially for seniors and physically challenged people. Food was average. There is only one lift. Dining room staff is very arrogant.
Guest：Below average property, not value for money. Having said that there is no good hotel in the middle budget category. I guess to have a hotel that has basic services and clean you will need to shell out over INR 10,000 per night at a hotel like Hotel Pahalgam or Heevan at 20000. Our main issue we had no hot water on arrival day 1. We were told to leave the taps flowing and the got water would flow out. However we had no luck. Finally at night the guy figured out the valve was shut has there was a leakage under the wash basin. Even when water started flowing it was dark brown in colour. Were again advised to leave the hot water flowing for the brown water to clear out. It again no luck. The same issue persisted the next morning. Either no hot water or dark brown water. We have been here for over 24 hours now and nothing has been fixed. Just lame excuses by the management. They keep sending staff to check who have no clue about the issue leave ***** how to fix it. Please see attached pictures. The ordinary staff as usual are nice but ill trained to resolve issues. Cleanliness and hygiene is something they do not seem to have a clue about. We would have checked out and paid more at a better accommodation but stuck here as it is prepaid through a third party and the hotel will not cancel or refund. A pity because the hotel is well located by the river side and can get a premium price by improving basic services. I find the lack of hot water or clean hot water absolutely unacceptable. A clean comfortable bed for a good sleep and a clean working toilet and shower are the most basis essentials of any hotel. Cannot recommend, if you are looking for a budget hotel, please try elsewhere, not worth the price. And I hope the management will not come up with some more lame excuses in response to this review as there was no good reason.. Had there been a problem they would have known or told us and fixed it in 24 hours. I can only guess that the hot water storage tanks need a good clean, removing all the accumulated sand.
Guest：One of the best river hotel in the area. It is located right between the market area with all the good food options available near by. Additionally it offers beautiful river view from the room, as well as offer a seating area beside it. The Lidder river can also be accessed with a short walking distance from the hotel. I was lucky enough to get corner rooms. However, the extended design of room, allows the river view from most of the rooms. The luxury was not expected from the property and so it truly offers what it shows in the images
