Guest：the hotel staff was very accomodating and the service and superb.and also the hotel was clean and it is a pet friendly hotel and the location is very convenient.
Guest：Had to extend our stay due to typhoon. They allowed us to stay in same rooms, so we didn’t have any hassle. It was nice affordable hotel but with really nice breakfast buffet.
Guest：I wanted to give this resort a five-star rating for its positives, like the clean room, good location, varied breakfast choices, nice pool with slides and lifeguards, good music band at night and smooth check-out. However, some issues during our 18-day stay affected our experience, so I must give a low rating with regrets. The breakfast buffet was challenging every day, especially on weekends when the hotel seemed full. We always arrived around 8:30 AM but often waited 15-20 minutes for a clean table outside (the inside area was too hot for us, leading to sweat a lot). Staff were slow to clear used tables after previous guests. One time, we had to wait while staff prioritized other useless tasks, and my wife ended up clearing the table herself (dirty plates, food remnants) to save time before the 10 AM closing. We noticed several other guests moving tables or waiting similarly. The buffet is open to external visitors, which might add to the crowd? I suggest adding more staff or a manager during peak times for better flow. Another serious issue for us was the unclear policy on outside food and drinks by the pool. No signs or rules mentioned this in our booking confirmation, check-in papers, or around the pool area. We avoided bringing items at first, but later saw many guests (families and others) consuming snacks, beers, fast food around the pool and bringing big bottles of alcohol from outside. Then, I brought an iced coffee in front of the hotel to drink it near the pool, but a staff member came immediately and said it was "not allowed", mentioning a 500 PHP corkage fee for this one coffee.? I would have liked to use the pool bar during my long stay, but prices there were significantly higher than expected (e.g., 390 PHP for an iced coffee latte, 231 PHP for a light beer, 490 PHP for a glass of red wine, 700 php for a pork sizzler…).? Prices varied oddly (e.g., beer at a reasonable 160 PHP at front restaurant VS. unacceptable 207 PHP at pool). We asked reception for clarification about this corkage fee issue, but they referred back to the bar staff. This led to us leaving the pool area whenever we wanted a snack or drink, as our young child needs regular food, while we observed other guests enjoying outside food and drink less or more discreetly around the pool, just like the rule applies randomly. This review and rating aim to inform families on long stays with children that rely on the pool facility to spend time, that fully enjoying the pool area could be challenging if they cannot afford such additional spending. I suggest clearer posted rules and reasonable prices to help guests enjoy the facilities. Other minor issues: limited beach chairs (about 25 chairs for 500 rooms, we never have the chance to found vacant chairs even if it was one of the facility which makes us choosing the resort) ; occasional towel shortages (bath and beach towels "still in the dryer"), and slow WiFi most of the time.? Overall, the resort has good potential, but better management of crowds, clearer policies, and a focus on satisfying guests instead of overselling and upselling would improve stays, especially in high season.
